About The Opportunity:

In this challenging position, you will be responsible for supervising Technical Unit personnel which includes the Data Processors, Disclosure Liaison, Forensic Video Technician, Forensic Video Analyst and the Criminal Analyst.  You will schedule staff, set priorities, ensure appropriate training, act as a resource to other staff, liaise with the RCMP and provide feedback. You will also be responsible for managing electronic files and converting documents for Crown Council and other purposes.  Throughout the course of your duties, you will be exposed to extremely graphic and disturbing information and visual materials.


About Your Background:

Along with a two year post-secondary diploma in Computer Information Systems, Broadcasting, Graphic Design or a related discipline from an accredited post-secondary institution recognized in the BC Transfer Guide, you have a minimum of five years' previous experience in a police environment with knowledge of police investigative procedures and electronic disclosure. Accounting or Finance courses would be an asset.  Ideally, you have three years of supervisory experience, or have completed leadership courses.  The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a clear RCMP Reliability Status.
