About The Opportunity:

In this dynamic role you will be responsible for working with an extensive network of organizations to enable delivery of projects, programs, and services that support the social health and well-being of all Prince George residents. This includes initiatives focused on Indigenous relations and reconciliation, arts and culture, the unsheltered homeless and associated community impacts, as well as special projects in response to Council priorities and/or the City's role in community issues such as poverty reduction, childcare, safety, accessibility, and inclusion.


About Your Background:

You have a university degree in a related discipline such as Community & Population Health, Community Development, Public Administration, or Urban Planning along with a minimum of two (2) years of related and demonstrated experience. Demonstrated experience includes the ability to assess current service delivery in relation to trends, emerging need, best practices, comparator cities, demographics, as well as shifts in societal volunteerism. You also have a demonstrated ability to identify and meet community needs, particularly those of underserved populations. A full privilege Class 5 BC Driver's License (or out of province equivalent) is a requirement along with having a clear Police Information Check for offences related to the position.
