About The Opportunity:

You will be responsible for millwright related operations and maintenance at our sanitary sewer pump stations, wastewater treatment plans and lagoons, storm sewer pump stations and District Renewable Energy sites as well as other city facilities No stranger to exercising considerable independent judgment, you have excellent time management and problem solving abilities along with a demonstrated commitment to customer service.


About Your Background:

You have a valid Interprovincial Millwright qualification or a BC Trades qualification and five years' experience as a Journeyperson. Working from sketches, blueprints, and diagrams and time estimating management skills are essential in this role. Experience with vibration analysis and equipment alignment would be an asset. Endorsements in electrical, refrigeration, gas fitting, power engineering, HVAC systems and/or EOCP certifications are considered assets. A valid full privilege Class 5 BC driver's license (or out of province equivalent) is required.
